Born on June 13, 1851 in Herrickville, PA to Albert G. and Sarah Ann Overpeck Camp.
Died on July 16, 1933 in Salida, CO
Married to Pemelia Abigail Warner in 1872 in Colfax, Iowa.
Parent of five children: Burt W., Frederick Henry, Lena Alice, Otis Harry, an Lillian Irene
In 1865, the Camp family moved to Iowa.
In 1874, C. D. and his wife and parents and siblings moved to Geneva. At this time, his residence was located at 102 North 8th. He and his father and brothers opened the first general store.
In 1877, C. D. began taking photographs.
In 1884, C. D. took a panoramic picture from the top of the school.

In 1886, C. D. built a building to use a photo studio.
In 1902, C. D. sold his photography business to DeWald and Ralston
Also in 1902, D. C. bought a photography car that he used to travel the area to take photos.
In 1905, C.D. and his family and son Otis and family and the Conwell family moved to Paonia, CO where they continued in the photography business.
