1936 Bert Bishop bought a piece of ground 40 x 48 feet from W. C. Peterson east of the A. R. Owen garage on F Street between 10th and 11th. He built a blacksmith shop. For several years Bishop operated his shop in a building attached to the Owen garage. That building was removed, clearing a space between the garage and Bishop’s shop.
1955 Virgil Clinkenbeard purchased the blacksmith shop of Bert Bishop.
1971 Virgil Clinkenbeard sold his business and equipment to Apley Farm Equipment Co.
1981 The City of Geneva bought lots 3-7.
1992 The City of Geneva used this location as a parking lot for their offices.
