1946 Kritner Funeral Home—Arthur M. Kritner and Robert L. Kritner opened their funeral home in the house formerly known as the Dempster residence.

1952 Kritner-Ashby Funeral Home—Arthur M. Kritner sold his interest to Sherman F. Ashby.

1956 Doll Clinic, Mrs. Robert Kritner

1957 Kritner-Farmer Funeral Home—Robert Kritner purchased Sherman Ashby’s interest in the Kritner-Ashby Funeral Home of Geneva and Fairmont. Late in the same month, Robert Kritner and Paul H. Farmer consolidated the Hrubesky-Farmer Funeral Homes in both of these towns and they became Kritner-Farmer Funeral Homes.
