1916 In August, the grain elevator built by the co-operative society was ready for use. A direct loading chute was installed. The elevator was one block north of Court street on the Burlington tracks. The Burlington moved the east side track over several feet to get it alongside the elevator.
1932 In April, the Farmers elevator was open Fridays and Saturdays to sell seeds, exchange for seed corn, and sell new and used machinery. Sheridan Grain & Machinery Co.
1933 The Geneva Farmers elevator was sold to M. A. Osborne of Daykin. The elevator had been owned and operated by William Sheridan of Sutton.
1943 By this time, the grain elevator was owned by A. Koehler Co.
