1953 The Terminal Café and service station were built by Tom Ewalt, who purchased the property from Mr. and Mrs. Porter Sloan.
1954 Hugh Hill of Superior purchased the new service station and café building constructed by Tom Ewalt.
1954-84 Mid-Nebraska Oil, Mel Whiteley, manager
1955 The cafe was owned and operated by Ben Richards.
1956-57 Ben Richards sold the Terminal Café to Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Williamson, Mrs. JoAnn Layne, and Mrs. Merna Hale. They called it Hill Service Station and Café.
1958-63 Mr. and Mrs. Wayne DuBois of Chester leased the Terminal Café from Merrill Williamson.
1964 Mrs. Doris Wilson reopened the café and called it the Hilltop Café.
1965-73 Mildred Fricke reopened the Hilltop Café.
1973 The Hilltop Café burned and was closed.
1973-75 Rick and Connie Gebhards reopened the Hilltop Café.
1979 Faye Tomlinson and Terri Boo reopened the former Hilltop Café under the name of Mom’s Café.
1980-2011 Mom’s Café, Donna Sorensen
1984-2001 Mel’s Hill Top Oil Co., Mel and Ardyce Whitely purchased the service station.
