1891 This home was built by J. M. Burke, hardware store owner. Houchin and Landmesser were the contractors, and E. A. Webster was the designer. The brick home was of the Queen Anne style and built at a cost of $8,700.
1899 The home was acquired by Citizen’s Bank and then purchased by Alice Brayton.
1911 Alice bequeathed the home to her nieces, Mildred and Josephine.
1913 The home was purchased by Mayme Larson who then married Dr. C. C. Wallingsford of North Platte.
1913 Wallingsford converted the home into a sanatorium.
1914 Wallingsford closed the sanatorium.
1914 Professor A. Albin LeRoy moved into the residence and opened the Geneva School of Music.
1915 The home was foreclosed and offered for sale. The house was purchased by Mildred Todd and Josephine Butler, nieces of Alice Brayton.
1916 The home was purchased by Walferd C. and Rosalie Peterson.
1938 The home was owned by Ralph and Dora Bolton.
1943 The home was owned by Laura Delfs. Her husband, Dr. Claus Delfs, practiced medicine in the house to the south.
1947 The home was owned by Mary Iras and LaGrand Shaw.
1959 The home was owned by Kenneth and Blanche Shaner.
1997 The home was owned by Curt and Joan Coddington.
2001 The home was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
2004 The home was owned by Pat and Mary Mitchell.
2016 The home was owned by Susan and Jay Lynch. Lynch Financial was based here in a building on the property.
