In 1910, he added the manufacture of ice to his business.
In 1923, he spent about six months in California before returning to Geneva.
In 1925, he opened a wholesale business at 818 G Street.
In 1930 he built a new building at 180 So. 8th Street.
He served on the city council several times and was the mayor.
