Louis Stephen “Lou” was born Oct. 22, 1859 in St. Paul, MN to Rev. and Mrs. F. W. Fiegenbaum. He was the fourth of nine children.
Died Jan 9, 1919 in Lincoln, NE. He is buried in Wyuka Cemetery there.
Married to Lue Shumway in 1884 in Geneva.

Came to Geneva in 1879 and entered the drug business.
In 1880, purchased the lot at 848 G and opened Star Drug Store.
In 1883, established a circulating library of 500 books loaned out for 10 cents a week.
In 1890, built at brick building at the same location.
In 1893, moved his drug store to 972 G Street.
In 1904, celebrated his 25th year of continuous business in Geneva.
Member of the Methodist church.
Led the church choir for 30 years.
He sold his business to Fred Picard in 1910.
In 1911, he moved to Lincoln to become the chief clerk in Gov. Aldrich’s office.
