Born on March 4, 1954 in Hebron, NE to James and Ruth Biba.
Died on Sept. 19, 2008 in York, NE. Buried in the Geneva Cemetery
Married to Susan Henrickson of Shickley on March 5, 1972.
Parents to two children, Catherine Marie and Brandon David
Dave graduated from Geneva High School in 1972 and the University of Nebraska in 1976.
Dave worked during the summers in high school for his family’s highway construction business on the road crew.
After graduating with a degree in Construction Management, he worked alongside his parents and brothers until Jim retired.
Dave and Gary ran the business until it was dissolved in 1998.

Dave was an active member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ, an assistant Scoutmaster, member of the Sons of the American Legion, organizer of the July 4th Parade, a member of Rotary, and a member of the Geneva/Fillmore Central school board.
Dave was an enthusiastic pilot who took every opportunity to fly somewhere. He earned his pilot’s license in 1973 and eventually became a flight instructor at York Municipal Airport in 2000.
