1953 The Kansas-Nebraska pipeline was constructed north of Geneva to transport refined products from processing plants in Kansas and Oklahoma. A 32-acre tract of land was purchased from Chet Chaney. The pipeline originally started in Eldorado, Kansas.
1956 A spur track was completed.
1959 Seven storage tanks were added to the terminal.
1960 Kaneb Pipe Line merged with Augusta Pipe Line Company, with the name Kaneb Pipe Line Company.
1963 Two propane storage tanks were installed.
2006 Valero L. P. purchased the pipeline.
2007 The pipeline is now known as New Star Energy L. P.
