We are reviewing our summer assignment and complex numbers.

Wednesday, 9/13 - we reviewed some key definitions of complex numbers and worked with some arithmetic of complex numbers. We also used different forms of complex numbers. Here are the slides from class. Here is your HW for tonight - one IB problem about complex numbers. Here is the markscheme for your HW problem.

Thursday, 9/14 - we reviewed converting between forms of complex numbers and used de Moivre's Theorem. Here are the slides form class. Here is your HW for tonight - one IB problem about complex numbers. Here is the markscheme for your HW problem.

Friday, 9/15 - we reviewed using de Moivre's Theorem to find the roots of a complex number. Here is your HW for the weekend - a few IB problems about complex numbers. Here is the markscheme for your HW problem. For HW this weekend you also have a mind map due that I will collect.

Monday, 9/18 - we tried a long IB problem on complex numbers, practicing most every skill we need, except for using de Moivre's Theorem. Here is the problem from class, which you should finish for HW. Here is the markscheme for this problem. Your exam is on Wednesday of this week. It is entirely non-GDC, but you will be given all relevant formulae and the unit circle as well.

Tuesday, 9/19 - we did practice questions on complex numbers. Here are the problems we worked on in class, and here are the markschemes for those problems. Your exam is tomorrow. It is entirely non-GDC, but you will be given all relevant formulae and the unit circle as well.

Wednesday, 9/20 - you have an exam on complex numbers. Your HW over the long weekend is to review some knowledge about derivatives. Here is the sheet you were given in class, complete with clickable links. You also have a mind map due Monday.
