We started our study of statistics.

Wednesday, 9/16: We looked at an introductory problem in statistics to get our brains thinking statistically. Here are the slides from class and here is the worksheet about classifying data for HW.

We also agreed on our classroom norms. Here is a copy of the norms upon which we've agreed.

Thursday, 9/17: we looked at ways of displaying data. Here are the slides from class. Your HW for tonight is page 322 #3-4.

Friday, 9/18: we constructed a grouped frequency distribution table. Here are the slides from class. Your HW is p.335 #4, 12a (ignore last two columns), and 12b (only part i).

Monday, 9/21: we practiced making frequency tables and frequency histograms. Here are the slides from class. Your HW is to finish this worksheet from class.

Tuesday, 9/22: we practiced using measures of central tendency. Here are the slides from class. Your HW is to finish this worksheet from class.

Friday, 9/25: we used our GDCs to calculate a lot of the stuff we have been doing in class, like mean and histograms. Here are the slides from class explaining how to use your GDC and its 1 Variable Stats feature. Your HW is to finish this worksheet from class.

Monday, 9/28: we have a quiz on everything we've learned about statistics so far.
