We started our unit on problem solving today. We will look at ways we can approach solving novel problems. There are several documents associated that will be important and here they are:

The introduction and rationale for this unit.

The flowchart explaining the process to which we will adhere.

The problem solving rubric by which your problem write ups will be assessed.

Here are the marked class slides from today. Your HW is to:

1. Finish the Warehouse Problem. Can you get a "92%" somewhere?
2. Read and annotate this text from Thinking Mathematically on the Warehouse Problem.
3. Compare the process laid out in the text to that laid out in the flowchart. Write down two thoughtful questions about the process you have.
4. Compare your solution of the Warehouse Problem to the one presented in the text. What are some similarities and what are some differences?
5. Read the problem solving rubric by which your problem write ups will be assessed. Do you have any questions for me?
