We're finally ready to actually solve the kinds quadratic equations that first prompted us to extend our number system to include imaginary numbers.

We also looked at a graphical interpretation of complex solutions to a quadratic equation. You are not responsible for knowing how to do this, but it's still interesting. If you want to learn more, come talk to me, or look at this condensed explanation, or this much longer, detailed one - both of which are accessible to your math reading level if you apply yourself!

Your HW is page 288, #36-40. Ignore the given directions: I would like you to solve by completing the square and check by the quadratic formula.

Delta Math due Friday 8 AM.

Unit 3 Exam on Friday.

We will be discussing the article I passed out on Monday in class on Thursday of this week.
