We are wrapping up our unit on Numbers this week. We will have an exam on Thursday (shortened periods because of locker distribution). On Friday, we start our unit on Sets.

On Monday 9/15, we looked at standard form (scientific notation). Here are the slides from class, and here is your HW: page 47-48 (Ex. 2.3) #1-5, 8.

Tuesday 9/16: We looked at SI units and unit conversion. Here are the slides from class and here is your HW: page 50-51 (Ex. 2.4) #1-5 (a,c,e only), 6a, 7.

Wed. 9/17: We did practice problems for our exam. Here are the problems and here are the slides from class.

Thurs. 9/18: We have an exam on number sets, number systems, rounding, sig figs, percent error, scientific notation, SI units, and conversion.

Fri. 9/19: We introduced ourselves to mathematical sets. Here are the slides from class. Your HW is page 245 (Ex. 9.1) #1-7 odd.
