We are continuing to work with vectors by working with lines represented by vector equations.

Tuesday, 9/27 - we were introduced to the idea of lines as vector equations, particularly in 2D. Here are the slides from class. Your HW is Exercise 12.3 #2c, 4, 10b, 11a.

Wednesday, 9/28 - we did some practice problems involving vector equations of lines. Here are the slides from class. Your HW is Exercise 12.3 #2c, 6,8c,9a,b,11 due Friday.

Thursday, 9/29 - we continued practicing problems involving vector equations of lines. Here are the slides from class. Your HW is still Exercise 12.3 #2c, 6,8c,9a,b,11 due Friday.

Friday, 9/30 - we continued to practice using vector equations of lines and focused on finding intersections between lines, especially when in vector form. Here is the worksheet from class of practice problems, which is not for HW. Your HW is to catch up on your CAS reflections or EE process or college applications, and also to make your third mind map of your choice, due Wednesday.

Wednesday, 10/5 - we looked at how lines in 3D can interact with each other. Here are the slides from class. Your HW is Exercise 12.3 #7a (change one "t" to "s") and #7d, 4, 9a, 9b.

Thursday, 10/6 - we continued to practice how lines in 3D interact with each other. Here are the slides from class. Your HW is Haese practice sheet Exercise 13G #1e-g.

Friday, 10/7 - we tried some quite challenging word problems involving vectors. Here are the slides from class. Your HW is Chapter 12 Practice Questions #16,17,19,22. Your fourth mind map is also for HW, due Tuesday after the long weekend.

Tuesday, 10/11 - we prepared expo problems in our groups. Here are the slides from class. Here are your Expo groups. Here are your Expo problems. Here is the Expo rubric. Here is the worked solution to the Toyundai problem we started which is good practice for these Expo problems. Your HW for Tuesday night and Wednesday night due Thursday will be Chapter 12 Practice Questions #10, 13 (two of the Expo problems).

Thursday, 10/13 -we continued to prepare our expo problems.

Friday, 10/14 & Monday, 10/17 & Tuesday, 10/18 - we presented Expo problems in our groups. Your fifth and final mind map of your choice is due on Monday, 10/17.

Wednesday, 10/19 - you had senior workshops, senior swag day, and your senior picnic.

Thursday, 10/20 - we have our concluding exam on vectors.
