Here is a schedule for this week:
- Monday, 3/30: Normal schedule
- Tuesday, 3/31: History IA, Latin IA
- Wednesday, 4/1: English IA, Math IA
- Thursday, 4/2: Science IA, Elective IA
- Friday, 4/3: No School - Spring Break
Our Term 3 Math IA is on Wednesday, 4/1 at 10:30 AM. The IB Math Studies 1 IA will be on
- Number (number sets, rounding, scientific notation, significant figures, percent error, unit conversion)
- Sets (Venn diagrams, union, intersection, complement, subset)
- Logic (propositions, logical connectors, truth tables, inverse, converse, contrapositive, tautology, contradiction, logical equivalence, valid arguments)
- Probability (simple probability, complementary events, mutually exclusive, dependent, independent, conditional, tree diagrams, Venn diagrams, tables, at least one, with replacement, without replacement)
- Sequences and Series (arithmetic sequences, geometric sequences, recursive and explicit formulae for both arithmetic and geometric sequences, arithmetic series, geometric series, sigma notation)
- Functions and Linear Models (definition of function, function notation, domain, range, linear functions, gradient, intercepts, simultaneous linear equations, graphs)
- Quadratics (factoring, solving, intercepts, vertex, axis of symmetry, graphing, maximizing or minimizing, using GDC)
- Exponentials (graphing, intercepts, asymptotes, solving equations, growth, decay, using GDC)
