Now that we're comfortable with operations with vectors, we're going to see how we can apply vectors to model lines and planes.

Thursday, 3/9 - we defined two dimensional lines with vector equations. Here is the worksheet from class. Here are the slides from class. Your HW is #1-4 on the backside of the worksheet.

Friday, 3/10 - we practiced using vector equations of lines and also found the angle between lines. Here are the slides from class. Here is the worksheet that is for HW.

Monday, 3/13 - you had a field trip to the Tenement Museum. I hope you had fun!

Tuesday, 3/14 - It's Pi Day! It's also a Snow Day and school is closed. Stay warm and safe!

Wednesday, 3/15 - we looked at how we can use vector equations to represent lines in 3D. Here are the slides from class. Your HW is this worksheet.

Thursday, 3/16 - we looked at IB problems involving vector equations of lines and constant velocity problems. Here are the slides from class. Your HW is this worksheet.

Friday, 3/17 - we figured out if two lines in 3D are parallel, coincident, intersecting, or skew. Here is the flowchart notes and homework on the back from class. Here are the slides from class.

Monday, 3/20 - we looked at the intersection of two lines and saw if two particles would collide or not if their paths intersect. Here are the slides from class. Your HW is the back of this worksheet from class, the two problems at the bottom.

Tuesday, 3/21 - we practiced IB style vector equation of line problems. Here are the problems from class.

Wednesday, 3/22 - we learned about another kind of vector multiplication, called the cross product. Here are the slides form class. Here is the worksheet problems from class. Your HW is p. 650 (Ex. 14.3) #5-9, 15, 19.

Thursday, 3/23 - we continued practicing with the vector (cross) product. Here are the slides from class. Here are the slides from class. Your HW is p. 650 (Ex. 14.3) #11-13, 17, 18, 23, 28. I don't see you in class on Friday or on Monday, so the HW is due on Tuesday.

Friday, 3/24 - you didn't have math class because of the half day for Discipulus Led Conferences.

Monday, 3/27 - you have your college trips. have fun!

Tuesday, 3/28 - We defined a 2D plane in 3D space using normal vectors and also found Cartesian equations of planes. Here are the slides from class. Here is the worksheet of notes & HW from class. Your HW is p. 686 (Ex. 14.5) #1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 9, 12, 15.

Wednesday, 3/29 - We found angles in space: angles that lines make with planes and angles that planes make with other planes. Here are the slides from class. Here is the worksheet of notes & HW from class. Your HW is p. 686 (Ex. 14.5) #17-22.

Thursday, 3/30 - We found the intersection point of a line and a plane, and practiced all the vector plane topics we've learned so far. Here are the slides from class. Here is the worksheet and notes from class, on the back of which is your HW assignment that we started in class.

Friday, 3/31 - We found the equation of the line of intersection between two planes. Here are the slides from class. Here is the worksheet and notes from class. Your HW is p, 686 (Ex. 14.5) #27, 28, 29, 31, 32.
