Welcome back to school!

On this page, you will find resources for our class, IB Math HL for juniors. Please bookmark this site for future reference.

Here is a link to the class syllabus for the year that gives you information about the course as well as class norms and expectations.

Wednesday, 9/9 - We did some introductions to Mr. Lao and to the course, including course expectations and policies. Your homework for tonight is this worksheet to introduce you to IB style problems. Here are the slides from class from the first day of school.

Thursday, 9/10 - we looked at IB style math problems, IB language in math, and some differences between SL and HL math. Please open up these slides from class today and scroll to the last slide for your HW problem in case you did not copy it down in class. If you do not yet have a graphing calculator (or even if you do), here is a link to an online graphing calculator that can help you answer the HW problem.

Friday, 9/11 - we set up math classroom norms together. Here are the slides from class. I will synthesize all of our thoughts from today into a set of norms we can follow. Your HW for the long weekend is this worksheet of review problems concerning identities.
