First day back from Hurricane Sandy - I hope everyone is safe and well rested.

We have a slightly altered schedule today. However, we will still proceed with our Chapter 3 Exam today. It will be a group exam. Details in these slides and in the email that I sent to you.

• Work with your group mates - talk quietly
• I will collect all the exams and grade ONE for the group's grade

If you cannot make it to school on Monday 11/5, do not worry. You may take the Chapter 3 Exam on Wednesday after school, with me. If you are unable to make that, I will have to count your IA grade twice - once for the IA and once as the Chapter 3 Exam.

Why are we doing a group exam? One, we have shortened periods due to our community meeting first thing in the morning. Two, you have had a week off from school and surely have been "studying" the entire time. Three, we want to be able to give you your exams back as soon as possible so that we can devote more attention to getting you feeling ready for IAs and spend less time on grading these exams. Term ends November 13th, so there will be no time for another Expo this term - a review of IA Expo will count for Term 2, though.

Tomorrow (Tuesday) is Election Day and discipuli do not have school. Wednesday will be a full day of school for all discipuli and will also be the Art History Interim Assessment. In class on Wednesday, you will receive back your exam and we will review for IAs.

Our Math IA is now on Thursday, November 8th at 10:45 AM. You will hear full details about IA schedule in our Community Meeting at 8AM on Monday 11/5.
