Greetings, sophomores! Mr. Lao is out on these three days as a chaperone on the Class IV Boston Trip.

Please be good and please be productive! I'll miss you guys.

Classwork for these three days:

You will be working from your table's folder. Folder Handlers are responsible for the contents and also for passing out textbooks.
Silently read the cover sheet of the Term 2 IA Reflections packet.
Complete, individually, the Term 2 IA Item Analysis Template. This is for you to get a better idea of your particular weaknesses in math. This is not being collected, and is only for your benefit.
Complete, in groups, the Term 2 IA Reflections. You are re-doing 14 of the problems from the IA. Be sure to follow the example provided: provide good explanations, a similar problem, and textbook or notebook citations.
Do NOT take the IA (it has a pink cover sheet) home with you. Do NOT take the classwork home with you (the one with the green cover sheet). Folder Handlers are in charge of keeping their table's folder neat and making sure no one takes anything they're not supposed to. Only blue papers may go home with you.

Homework:

Page 488, #1-5 and #9-17, all odd (assigned for Thursday night, 1/31/13; will check on Thursday when I return).
Logarithms: Read Page 492-493, watch the Khan Academy video, and complete special (very short) Delta Math assignment (due Monday at 8AM on Delta Math).
Page 489-490 #30-38 and #41 and Page 496 #1-4 and #13-24 (new written assignment; I will check it on Thursday when I return).
Regular Delta Math Assignment, due Friday February 8, 2013 at 8AM
