We are learning statistics this week as well as after your Interim Assessment.

Thursday, 3/16 - we looked at how we can display raw data, mean, median, mode, and how we can find univariate statistics on our GDC. Here are the slides from class. Here is the worksheet and notes from class. Your HW is the last two pages of the worksheet.

Friday, 3/17 - we are combining probability and statistics and studying probability distributions. Today we're looking at discrete random variables and probability distribution functions. Here are the slides from class. Here is the worksheet and notes from class. Your HW is the last two pages of the worksheet.

Monday, 3/20 - we looked at expected value and variance, particularly on the GDC. Here are the slides form class. Here is the worksheet and notes from class. Your HW is the last page of the worksheet.

Tuesday, 3/21 - we learned about a special discrete random variable probability distribution function - the binomial distribution. Here are the slides from class. Here is the worksheet and notes from class. Your HW is the last page of the worksheet, p. 878 (Ex. 17.2) #3, 6, 11.

Wednesday, 3/22 - we learned about another special discrete random variable probability distribution function - the Poisson distribution. Here are the slides from class. Here is the worksheet and notes from class. Your HW is the last page of the worksheet, p. 887 (Ex. 17.3) #1, 3, 6, 8.

Thursday, 3/23 - we practiced IB problems with discrete probability distribution functions. Here are the problems from class. Here are the slides from class. No HW.

Friday, 3/24 - Discipulus Led Conferences - you have a half day of school. In R3, we'll continue practicing the discrete random probability distribution functions from yesterday.
