10/11 - 11/12: Applications of Integration

We're now studying how we can use antiderivatives, from finding areas, to finding volumes, to reasoning through kinematic motion problems.

Friday, 10/11 - Mr. Lao is flying to his brother's wedding and isn't in school this day. You learned about the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus, which allows us to find values of definite integrals. Monday, 10/14 - it's Indigenous Peoples Day' and we didn't have school.

Tuesday, 11/12 - you have an exam on the applications of integration. You should bring a GDC to the exam. The exam covers using integrals to find areas with respect to the x-axis (there might be a hole), volumes with respect to the x-axis (there might be a hole), areas and volumes with respect to the y-axis (again, holes), and kinematics problems.
