Your final Interim Assessments of your TBLS career are this week. Our Math Interim Assessment is the second one on the first day, on Wednesday.

Monday 3/27 and Tuesday, 3/28 - we reviewed for your Interim Assessment. Here are a bunch of IB problems and their corresponding solutions.

Wednesday, 3/29 - you have your math Interim Assessment (after your English IA). It will be a 2 hour version of a Math HL Paper 3 exam, which means the topic is only Discrete Mathematics, which includes

  • number theory (divisibility, prime numbers, division algorithm, Euclidean algorithm, Diophantine equations, numbers in different bases, modular arithmetic, linear congruences, systems of linear congruences, Fermat's little theorem)
  • recurrence relations (first order inhomogeneous linear recurrence relations with constant coefficients, second order homogeneous linear recurrence relations with constant coefficients)
  • graph theory (graph vocabulary, journeys on graphs, Eulerian graphs, Hamiltonian graphs, planar graphs, Kruskal's algorithm, Dijkstra's algorithm, the Chinese Postman Problem, the Travelling Salesman Problem, the Nearest Neighbor Algorithm, the Deleted Vertex Algorithm).

Thursday, 3/30 - you have your history and Classics IAs.

Friday, 3/31 - you have your science and elective IAs.
