We are starting our unit on vectors - what they are, how we represent them, and how we work with them algebraically and geometrically.

Thursday, 2/9 - Snow Day! Enjoy!

Friday, 2/10 - we defined a vector and looked at some pictorial representations of vectors. Here are the slides from class. Your HW is to log onto ManageBac and complete some of the work you need to accomplish for CAS.

Monday, 2/13 - we worked with vector arithmetic in a geometric sense. Here are the slides from class. Your HW is OE p. 397/NE p. 407 (Ex. 9.1/9.2) #1, 10, 19.

Tuesday, 2/14 - we represented vectors in the plane in both component form and unit vector form. Here are the slides from class. Your HW is this worksheet.

Wednesday, 2/15 - we added, subtracted, negated, and scaled vectors algebraically using component form or unit vector form. Here are the slides from class. Your HW is OE p. 397/NE p. 407 (Ex. 9.1/9.2) #15-17.

Thursday, 2/16 - we found and used position vectors between two coordinate points. Here are the slides from class. Your HW is OE p. 397/NE p. 407 (Ex. 9.1/9.2) #2, 7, 11, 14, 21.

Friday, 2/17 - we were introduced to vectors in 3D. Here are the slides from class. Here are the problems from class.

Have a good break!
