We started our unit on Probability.

I will be checking homework daily (no more HW quizzes).

We will have a quiz on Venn diagrams, sets, and probabilities on Tuesday 5/27.

On Wednesday 5/14, we looked at sample spaces and events. Your HW is Page 320 #1-2, 6-7, 10. Here are the slides from class.
On Thursday 5/15, we looked at simple probabilities. Your HW is Page 326 #1-4. Here are the slides from class.
On Friday 5/16, we looked at different diagrams to help with probability problems.
On Monady 5/19, I am not in school. You should be doing Page 327 #8-11. If you do not finish in class, finish for HW.
On Tuesday 5/20, we looked more at sets and Venn diagrams. Your HW is the back of this worksheet about sets. Here are the slides from class.
On Wednesday 5/21 we looked at the addition rule for probability of combined events and probabilities of independent events. Here are the slides from class. Your HW is Page 337 #1, 2 (not e), 3, 7.
Thursday 5/22 was Founders' Day!
On Friday 5/23 we practiced all the probability rules and problems we've seen so far. There is no homework for the weekend, but in class we worked on some good practice problems to review for your quiz: Page 338 #6 and Page 339 #2, 4, 5, 8 11. Here are the worked out solutions to these specific problems.
Monday 5/26 is Memorial Day - no school!
On Tuesday 5/27 we have a short quiz (25 minutes) on probability.
