We are starting a new topic - looking at how to expand binomials raised to integer powers using the Binomial Theorem.

Tuesday, 11/29 - we reviewed the pattern we noticed last year in expanded binomials and saw how it was related to Pascal's Triangle. Here are the slides from class. Your HW is new edition p. 188/old edition p. 178 (Ex. 4.6) #1abdeg, 5, 8.

Wednesday, 11/30 - we looked at the Binomial Theorem and how it helps us find specific terms in an expansion of a binomial faster. Here are the slides from class. Your HW, due Friday, is new edition p. 188/old edition p. 178 (Ex. 4.6) #3fj, 4, 11, 13, 17, 18, 19, 21.

Thursday, 12/1 - we practiced Binomial Theorem problems. Here are the slides from class. Your HW, due Friday, is new edition p. 188/old edition p. 178 (Ex. 4.6) #3fj, 4, 11, 13, 17, 18, 19, 2.

Friday, 12/2 - we got back our sequences and series exams and started the process of test corrections. Here are the slides from class (explaining the process of test corrections for this exam). Test corrections are due on Tuesday.
