We looked at basic rules of differentiation this week, as well as tangent lines and normal lines. We will have a quiz on Thursday (shortened recitations because of locker handouts).

Mon 9/15: We learned the power rule - a shortcut to find derivatives. Here are the slides from class. HW is below.

Tues 9/16: We used the derivative to find and use equations of tangent lines. Here are the slides from class. HW is below.

Wed 9/17: We used the derivative to find and use equations of normal lines. Here are the slides from class. HW is below.

Thurs 9/18: We have a quiz on basic differentiation rules, tangent lines, and normal lines.

Fri 9/19: We looked at more difficult problems involving tangent and normal lines. Here are the slides from class and here are the problems we worked on. Please finish them for HW.
