We are continuing our work on probability this week. You can expect to do Expos next week and an exam on Monday 12/15, the week after that.

Monday 12/1: We used Venn Diagrams to solve probability problems. Here is the worksheet and homework from class.

Tuesday 12/2: We looked at the idea of conditional probability. Here are the slides from class. Your HW is p. 302 (Ex. 11.7) #4, 5, 7, 9.

Wednesday 12/3: We're looking at the probability of "at least one" statements. Here are the slides from class. Your HW is p. 305 (Ex. 11.8) #1, 3, 6.

Thursday 12/4: We're looking at independent events in more depth. Here are the slides from class. Your HW is to finish the worksheet we started in class.

Friday 12/5: We've finished probability and need to look at everything all together, using all of our knowledge to figure out which probability situation we have. Your HW is to finish all of the Expo problems, due Wednesday. If you do not hand in all 8 Expo problem on Wednesday, you will not be allowed to present with your group. Groups and presentation problems will be assigned on Monday.

Monday 12/8 - Tuesday 12/9: we prepared our Expos in class. Your HW is to finish all of the Expo problems, due Wednesday.

Wednesday 12/10 - Friday 12/12: We present our Expos.

Lastly, here are some review problems (not due for HW) that you can use, in addition to the Expo problems, to study for your exam.
