We're wrapping up our unit on how to solve quadratic equations and gearing up for the Unit 2 Exam and the IA for Term 1.

Today, we're looking at the right column of that chart that keeps popping up in all of our lessons. Which method of solving quadratics is best in which situations?

This will be the bulk of your work in Expos this week, following more or less the same outline that we follow today.

Here are the marked class slides. There is a typo on the slides: the first problem should be 2x^2 - 7x = 15.

Here is the Math Exposition Rubric (which you are to read and annotate tonight so that you know on what you are being assessed).

Here is the Solving Quadratics graphic organizer we used in class.

Collaboration for the Expos will be tomorrow, Tuesday, October 23, 2012.

Presentations of Expos will be Wednesday and Thursday, October 24-25, 2012.

Your Unit 2 Exam will be on Monday, October 29, 2012.

The Term 1 Math IA will be on Thursday, November 1, 2012.
