First day of school!

Welcome to Algebra 2/Trigonometry! This class will extend the knowledge of algebra you already have and give you a foundation for IB math classes next year.

In class, we looked at a fun warm up. If you enjoyed that warm up, check out the book "Sideways Arithmetic from Wayside School" that's in my math library in my room. For that matter, check out the diverse selection of other books I have in my library.

We then looked over the syllabus for the class. I also passed out a letter to be given to your parents about our class.

Finally, you have homework for this week. Due by Friday, September 13, please:

1. Read over the course syllabus and the welcome letter with your parent/guardian.
2. Gather all materials for the course.
3. Bookmark this website.
4. Complete a short survey. Complete the survey as fully as possible. Make sure you complete all pages of the survey and finish by clicking “Submit” on the last page.
5. Sign up for Delta Math at www.deltamath.com. Bookmark this website. Sign in with the Teacher Code 512472. If you are a new user, create a new account and use that Teacher Code. If you are an existing user, sign in, click on “Tools,” then click on “Add Teacher”.
