Weather

In this project we had to convey any type of weather through our picture. I wanted this photo to be unique and not the common picture of clouds or rain. Then one day it was foggy and I was on the bus to school. We always pass this big tree at the end of a road. I thought the fog had a cool effect on the area and the tree itself. It felt eerie because you couldn't see much of the background past the branches. This came out well through the print because the fog blocked some of the branches making it faint in the print. This fades everything a little and makes it more mysterious.

I like the depth shown at the bottom of the picture shown by branches and sticks behind one another. This picture has a low contrast and I think that's because of the fog in the picture. The branches and bushes brings line into the print because they have no leaves yet. This print has informal balance because none of the branches are the same size or arranged the same way. It also shows selective focus because the bushes in the foreground are clear and in focus while the tree is out of focus.
