Wire Sculpture

The first two pictures are of the wire sculpture I made of a small globe. The third picture is of the practice wire sculpture we did in class of a cube. I chose to do a globe because it wasn't too big or too small. I liked to curves the globe had and knew that I could complete it in a piece-by-piece process. I choose to create this globe because it was the perfect size for the project. It also had interesting composition and negative space. I did things in parts when making my project. First I did all the circles I would need for the based, globe, and the bar between the two. After that I made the connectors between each circle. I connected the separate pieces one at a time starting with the base. My favorite part of this project was making the circles for my globe.
