My images include different subjects. The main two are the figures of the moose and the bear. I also ended up using an elephant that I had to take the remaining pictures I needed. Many of my pictures are in front of the school in different sections of the grass. A couple are showcased in the school library and the rest are in my backyard. This project I tried utilizing what I had around me and all the different angles I could get. I used one of the better cameras I have for the second half of my photos and I feel they turned out better than the others. I chose to use the moose and the bear because they were both brown and would look good in the natural setting. Then when I got home I chose the elephant because it was small and an easy shape to use. I definitely tried to look for a lot of principles and elements in my photos. The ones I tried to focus on are emphasis and color. Some of my pictures looked better in black and white while others looked better unedited.
Each picture showcases a different composition rule or technique. Many include more than one, but I chose the one that stood out the the most. So my photo that says silhouette lighting highlights the rule of silhouette lighting and so on and so forth. I retook many pictures with different figures or angles so in the end I had many options for different categories. This was good because I got to choose which picture was stronger. I also tried different filters on many of the photos I used. Doing this allowed me to revise how many of the photos looked in the end and overall made my project better.
For this test I tried to take better pictures than the first composition project which meant more editing and better focus on what the composition rules and techniques meant for photography. Some of these photos are in/near my house as well. The one thing I would change would be to take more pictures with the elephant because I ended up like that figure better than the moose and the bear.
