For the family dynamics project we were tasked with taking a photo related to something our family enjoys together. This picture was taken after I had gotten home from a game. My brother had taken my youngest dog out to the backyard and lifted him up onto the trampoline. Remembering that I needed a photo for this project I started taking photos of them playing around. This was the last one I took and I felt it was the best. It was candid and my brother had just gotten knocked over by my dog. I thought this photo showed a lot of emotion and fun. You can see my dog in the foreground and in the background my brother is falling.
This print has a good range of value with dark darks and light lights. There are different textures that come through the picture. The light also brings out shadows and details in the picture. The invert that I printed had a lot of contrast which transferred to the print. This photo is also an example of low key lighting. The only light was from the sunset. It also has sharp focus throughout the photo. I like how this turned out and am happy with the way it developed.
