This picture is a simple reflection photo taken in the mirror of a bathroom. I zoomed in trying to cut out as much of the clothes and other supplies as possible. The reflection is of me holding my camera. WIth my hands I tried to arrange them into an interesting way because it would be one of the focal points of the photo. With my right hand I covered some of the lense which, in turn, covered a bit of the photo.
One composition technique used in this photo is selective focus. My fingers being so close to the camera, they came out blurry in the photo. Meanwhile the reflection of myself is in focus. I liked the shadows of my fingers on the lense of the camera and how it cuts off part of the background. After I took the photo I decided to edit it. I put a black and white filter on the photo because I found it made the photo more interesting.
