Concentration #3

This sculpture is the third in the series I am creating. I stuck with my concentration of skulls and mental illness. For this sculpture I decided to do anxiety. This is represented by the clock on top of the skull. It's also broken to say that it's out of control and over worked. This is a miniature sculpture meaning it's very small. I did this because my two previous sculptures had been very large. For this project I used all sculpy for everything. I started with the skull and then added the base of the clock. I finished with the fine details and paint.

The shape of the sculpture is very unique in the way that different pieces are coming off of it along with the clock being built into the skull. It also has texture with all the pieces that are glued on the create different spacing on the sculpture. This sculpture has informal balance with more pieces and objects on one side then the other. Then there are many leading lines throughout the clock. The hands and and other pieces create leading lines.
