Silvery gray with large, black, random splotches; may have a greenish sheen; caudal fin is generally dark with white tips.
Habitat & Depth
Usually found in water column just a few feet above the reef. Found at depths from 0-70ft.

Behavior & Notes
Curious in general toward divers and sometimes follow one around while underwater, however in no means aggressive towards unprovocative humans. Attacks on humans are exceedingly rare and have been a result of confusion or defense.
