Size
Zooecia length: to 0.55mm. Zoociea width: to 0.50mm.
Recognition Characters
Considerable variation in size, shape and anatomical features can occur in the same colony. The zooecia may be ovate, quadrangular or hexagonal and frequently separated by large pores. The frontal is tremocyst, slightly curved to gibbous, smooth and evenly perforated or granular and sparsely punctured. Aperture is semicircular, the proximal border straight and usually finely serrate.
Color
Zoarium is composed of translucent and silvery zooecia.
