Recognition Characters
Has two short, sensory antennae on head. Numerous, thin lines crisscross body.
Color
Body can be white, light gray or orange. Lines are dark brown or black.
Habitat & Depth
Rocky outcroppings, hard bottoms, coral rubble patches, and subtidal mangrove areas. Anywhere with Ecteinascidia turbinatapresent. Depth to 20m.
Distribution at GRNMS
Locally abundant when found with Ecteinascidia turbinata.

Georgia, Florida, Bahamas, Caribbean
Behavior & Notes
This tiny flatworm feeds primarily on the mangrove tunicate, Ecteinascidia turbinata.
