Recognition Characters
Skin texture is a reticulated pattern of patches and thin grooves. Arms are 3-4 times body length.
Color
Color and patterns highly variable. Often mottled reddish-brown with frontal white spots. No dark ring around eye, edges of suckers are dark.
Habitat & Depth
On sea grass beds, areas of sand and rubble, rocky outcroppings, and coral reefs. To 25m depth.
Distribution at GRNMS
Common. Hides within cracks and crevices during day.
