Canzone della tradizione uygura. Gli uyguri -di etnia turcofona e di religione islamica- sono sottoposti in questi anni a misure repressive da parte delle autorità cinesi, dirette a diluire fortemente l’identità di questo popolo, favorendo nello Xinjang l’immigrazione di cinesi di etnia Han e incrementando la detenzione ai lavori forzati di circa un milione di persone –su un totale di circa 13,5- in campi di concentramento, chiamati “di rieducazione”. Song of the Uyghurian tradition. In recent years, the Uyghurs - a Turkic-speaking ethnic group of Islamic religion - have been subjected to repressive measures by the Chinese authorities, aimed at strongly diluting the identity of this people, favoring the immigration of ethnic Han Chinese into Xinjang and increasing the detention for forced labor of about one million people - out of a total of about 13.5 - in concentration camps, called "re-education".
