John Jones, Army Service Corps

Enlisted 9 December 1915 and discharged 14 October 1916 due to sickness. His Medal Index Card (MIC) does not record the award of any service medals.He was the son of Mrs Mary Jones of Uwch-y-Mor, Four Mile Bridge, Anglesey. He was employed as a Blacksmith. In 1911 he lived with his family at Penryn Fadof, Rhoscolyn, which comprised his father, John Jones (56), Farmer; mother, Mary Jones (49); brother Richard Jones (13) and sister Gladys Jones (2).His father died in 1929 and his mother in 1941. They are buried together with their son.Buried in St Gwaenfaen Church, Rhoscolyn, Anglesey. Grave located south of west end of church in new ground.
