Evan Davies is not listed with the Commonwealth War Graves Commision (CWGC) Debt of Honour Register. His omission may have been due to the nature of his demise not meeting the requirements for CWGC commemoration. The town may have considered this differently and have included his name on the Memorial.

He was awarded the Mercantile Marine Medal and British War Medal.

He is buried at Holyhead (Maeshyfryd) Burial Board) Cemetery, Holyhead with his wife and her second husband.
