Thomas Evans, Royal Army Service Corps

Driver, T2/13905, 9th Reserve Park, Army Service Corps. Died, killed in action, aged 19, on 28 July 1916 at the Western Front.

Enrolled at Stockport. Arrived in France on 5 May 1915. The 9th Reserve Park was formed in September 1914 as part of 125 ASC and served as GHQ Troops.

Born in Holyhead the son of John and Ellen Evans (nee Hughes) of 21 Henry Street, Holyhead. In 1901 he was living with his parents and two older sisters at 21 Henry Street, Holyhead. The family lived at the same address in 1911. His father was employed as a Locomotive Driver. His effects were sent to his sister, Ellen Hughes.

Awarded the 1915 Star, Victory Medal and British War Medal.

Buried in Carnoy Military Cemetery. Grave location C.17.
