Identify what scientists do and safe practices during indoor and outdoor investigations.

  • I will identify the tools that scientists have through pictures and manipulatives.
  • I will identify lab safety rules and communicate through writing why we need to follow them.

Essential Questions:

  • What are possible scenarios that would cause a scientific investigation to be unsafe?
  • What does being a scientist mean?
