Big Idea:

• Reading Comprehension and Strategies: Establishing a purpose for reading and making connections between books.
• Writing and Grammar: Legibly writing sentences that ask a question.
• Phonics: Correlating sounds (-nk and -ng, digraphs (ch, sh, th, wh, ph)) or segmenting words to read and write.
