The missile strikes unerringly, even if the target is in melee combat, so long as it has less than total cover or total concealment. Specific parts of a creature can't be singled out.
Victims of Astral must make a Fortitude save or be blinded for 1/round per level to a maximum of 12.
When cast, Deban grants the caster with the Deban effect, which provides a bonus to DR as if their Natural/Manufactured armor was much thicker then it really is.
Deband however is AOE and will also provide the boost to anyone within its range; this range increases with technique level.
Deban[d] will wear off over time, requiring re-casting. At higher levels, shift[a]'s effect will last longer.
Deban[d] is the direct opposite of Zalure. A higher-level Deban[d] will override a lower-level Zalure, whereas a lower-level Deban[d] will be canceled out in the face of a higher-leveled Zalure.
One of the special effects available to mags is the ability to cast shift and deban on their owners.
