" Religion is bullshit. Nobody with a brain cares about your sky wizard. " - Random Human
While the gods might be just that, gods, the furies are minor elemental Dragon gods that are trapped on this plane, they occasionally appear to mortals at the divine temples that some have built towards the forces of nature, they generate a domain that they represent as a force of nature that they are formed out of and are known to be extremely helpful even if they tend to suffer from yoda speak on occasion.
They serve as agents to the upper deities and report on the affairs of mortals to the gods of respective domains, its best not to anger a fury, they can temporarily relieve you of the ability to transform chakra into their specific element, disabling the entire energy type and any advanced elements dependent on that energy until you atone.
Water Fury - Shalassa - Water Temple
Fire Fury - Arkath - Fire Temple
Earth Fury - Sylanna - Earth Temple
Domain Magic [WIP]
Kage's Domains National Domains
Rainbow Agriculture
Elements: Fire, Lightning Elements: Earth, Water, Wind Void __________
Priests gain 4 domains total but must dedicate themselves to a divine source be it a major, minor deity or the kage,
Mystics gain 3 domains, can choose to follow a god for their domains or use national or kage domains
Espers gain 2 domains and only use national or kage domains, they still commune with the gods but choose not to worship them, and prefer to be treated as equals during their interactions with them, they view them as powerful beings but no different from any other living being, some of the gods respect this, some will choose not to commune with them.
Disciple of Aphrodite/Eros Prestige class adds 1 domain, but only one of their gods' Domains.
Domain Charge
Everyone has these charges but only having a domain puts them to any use, Domain spells retain their previous spell level from 1 to 9,
every day you have a charge to correspond with each level
Each day, they can cast one of the spells from her domains in that slot.
So a priest would have 4 domains and 4 level nine spells, but only 1 level 9 charge.
So a mystic would have 3 domains and 3 level nine spells, but only 1 level 9 charge.
So a Esper would have 2 domains and 2 level nine spells, but only 1 level 9 charge.
So a Disciple of Aaluran that did not evolve from a priest or mystic would have 1 domain and 1 level nine spell, but only 1 level 9 charge.
[Blessed] Palman Holy Bible - Laconia Plated
Slot: Slotless or shield equipment slot;
Price: 230,000 ECUs;
Weight: 2 lbs
Description:
Truely devoted palman priests carry a large bible with them at all times. The Bible has a black cover and is plated with deadly laconian silver along the edges, spine, and has a laconian holy symbol decorating the cover. The book is lined with reinforced steel plating to make it somewhat resistant to gunfire, as seen with palman clerics backhanding bullets with the book itself, the palman holy bible can be held in the offhand and behave with statisitics similar to a buckler.
The pages of the Bible are filled with holy energy that in the hands of a skilled priest can be nailed to the surfaces of a battleground limiting the abilities of most vampires, forsaken and similarly unholy creatures.
This book has also been charged with a single use of Teleport and attuned to a specific location (usually the site that it was created, or nearest religious site). When activated, it will teleport the wielder and up to 3 medium-sized creatures to that location so long as it is within 900 miles, as per a Teleport spell cast by a 9th level caster. Because the destination has already been attuned to the book, there is no chance of teleportation mishap. Attuning the book to a specific temple requires 10 minutes with the book being in that specific temple.
A Holy Bible can be attuned as many times as desired, but shreds itself into a flurry of papers that float around the targets of the teleportation before whisking them off.
If the attuned destination is more than 900 miles when activated, the book will redirect to the nearest palman holy site, if it cannot for some reason the book shreds itself without activating the teleport effect.
This is a use-activated item, it can only be used by clerics of the palman religion, however it has been known to activate for party members of the priest if the priest is unconcious hinting that their god is doing the teleportation not a simple set of magical parameters.
Recharge cost: To repair a Palman holy bible after its emergency teleport has been used costs 1/2 its purchace value. [115,000 ECUs]
For DM reference
Heretic Religion: (for NPCs)
Cult of the Profound Darkness (Path of Entropy)
Domains: Evil , Destruction, Madness
Symbol: a bloody Knife.
Even though the profound darkness is either dead, dying or recovering (who really knows), its avatars, the fingers it projects into our reality known as Dark Falz (forces) can still channel domains to their followers, who become permanently stained by this interaction, Ex followers usually can eventually relearn their old jutsu "Corrosion" but only if they have access to compatible energy, see below.
Ex followers usually follow the Kage for access to the void domain, its energies satiating their need for negative energy as a result of their corruption, Phage Enil (Repose) and Kalren Vos (Dream) and the Red Knight (War), the Shadow Fury Malassa and the Prince of Madness Sheogorath also have domains that can satiate them.
