Mystryl (MISS-trihl), the Lady of Mysteries, was a greater deity and the first incarnation of the goddess of magic in Faerûn, when she was killed the later incarnations of the goddess were named "Mystra".
Enough of her original essence drifted into the space between realms when she was slain, the Overdiety for this realm, The Great light collected these remains with the help of Alilial and with their combined power Mystryl was reborn and assumed her role as the goddess of chakra in this realm.
She is arguably was the most powerful deity in Faerûn and possibly Realmspace, she is one of the 5 gods elevated to over-deity status, they devote large amounts of energy collected from worshipers to assist The Great light in holding the realm together after the profound darkness' defeat.
She supposedly weighs and judges each Chakra based Technique or item, to determine whether it should be permitted into the Realms.
